Time-Attack Track Car
A purpose-built Honda S2000 stripped, caged, and tuned for unlimited-class time-attack competition.
Starting from a high-mileage S2000 shell, the Apex team built a full SCCA-legal roll cage, pulled all interior trim, and fitted a custom carbon-Kevlar front splitter and rear wing. The F22C received a port and polish, ITBs, and a revised cam profile that moved the power band to match the medium-length circuits the car targets.
Corner weight and alignment were dialled on the shop's four-post alignment rack; damper tune required six sessions across two track days before the driver was satisfied. Current best: 1:34.2 at Buttonwillow (13CW), placing it in the top five for unlimited class. Apex provides ongoing setup support between events.
