GT-R Stage 3 Build
A full Stage 3 driveline build on an R35 GT-R, making 612 whp on pump E30.
The client brought in his daily-driven R35 with a simple brief: reliable 600-wheel figures on pump fuel with enough left in reserve for track days. The Apex Stage 3 package addresses every bottleneck — rebuilt turbos with larger compressor wheels, high-flow fuel rails, a Motec M150 ECU replacing the factory unit, and a full catless titanium exhaust from manifold to tip.
The transmission received a full rebuild with upgraded clutch packs; the transfer case was resealed and shimmed. Final dyno numbers: 612 whp / 543 wtq on E30 blend. The car pulls cleanly to redline with no surging and zero codes after three full track sessions at Willow Springs.
