1969 Camaro Restomod
A numbers-matching 1969 Camaro SS converted to a modern LS3 drivetrain with a full suspension overhaul.
The owner wanted his father's original SS to be driveable every day without sacrificing its identity. The body and glass remained untouched; the work went entirely underneath. Apex pulled the original 350, replaced it with a crate LS3 fed by a Holley Sniper EFI setup, and ran new chassis wiring back through the firewall. The factory drum brakes gave way to a four-wheel Wilwood disc conversion.
The suspension received Global West subframe connectors, tubular control arms front and rear, and a set of coilovers valved for street use. The car drives noticeably tighter than stock and starts first-crank every time. Original badging, numbers plate, and a period-correct Fathom Green respray complete the build.
