Install Instructions

Estimated install time: 3–4 hours for an experienced DIY.

  • Lift, jack stands, remove front wheels.
  • Verify wheel clearance against acetate template before going further.
  • Disconnect ABS sensor wire from OE caliper.
  • Remove OE caliper + bracket. Hang from suspension or strap to prevent line stress.
  • Remove OE rotor. Inspect hub surface — clean to bare metal.
  • Install Brembo 2-piece rotor over hub. Torque hat-to-rotor hardware to 18 lb-ft.
  • Install Brembo bracket. Torque to 96 lb-ft + thread-lock.
  • Install caliper to bracket. Torque caliper-to-bracket to 60 lb-ft.
  • Bleed system with included DOT-4 fluid. Pump pedal to confirm firm engagement.
  • Bed-in procedure: 10× 60→15 mph at 60% pedal, 3-min cool, no full stop until 200 mi.

Warranty

Brembo manufacturer warranty: 2 years against defects in caliper body, piston seals, and bracket. Rotor warranty separate — 12 months against warping under spec use. Track use is covered under both.

Wheel-clearance template saved a return.

I have 19x10 Forgestar F14s and was 100% sure they’d clear. They did, but only with 2mm to spare per the template Apex ships. Glad I checked before pulling the wheel off — would have been a 5-day delay otherwise. The template is laser-cut acrylic, not paper.
